Ludmyrna Lopez, CLF Treasurer

Chief Financial Officer for the Sonoma County Library

Ludmyrna is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Sonoma County Library, serving approximately 300 employees and 500,000 residents in accessing information and services.  With over 20 years of serving in financial and public administration leadership positions in federal and local governments such as, the County of Alameda, City and County of San Francisco, City of Richmond, City of Oakland, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, she offers strategic oversight and governance acumen. Ludmyrna is committed to leading with integrity and impact.  Ludmyrna is passionate about assisting others see and build their potential and realize their dreams for greater good.

Ludmyrna was elected to the Richmond City Council where she grew up and served from 2007 to 2011.  She was the first in her family to graduate from college.  Ludmyrna holds a Master’s of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s of Arts from Cal State East Bay.  She first began her association with CLF as a scholarship recipient while a student at California State East Bay.  Ludmyrna lives with her family raising two teenage sons in the east bay.
